I am just about as fed up with PC as my English relative, Timothy Pickering, was fed up with King George all those years ago. PC MUST STOP. I am in training to take the Federal Post of Secretary of Education of the United States of America. I promise you all the the hydra of PC will see its last head cut from our body politic WORLDWIDE in our lifetime. If any of you want to contact me, email me at jackofdiamonds2010@gmail.com. Case in point: the other day I saw an man that was familiar to me when I was young. He went on marches to protest at immigration and was outspoken about the alarming rise of feminism. I was thoroughly taken aback when I asked him what march he was planning on going on. He replied that he was a member of the anti-nazi league and was appalled by the 'racist attitudes of many people' Utterly dumbfounded, I reminded him of his previous ideology. 'Oh that, he replied,..'was great while it lasted. But people dont want to know you. I have loads of friends now' This set me thinking about the politically correct motives of others. I have come to the conclusion that most of those that espouse it are generally those who just follow others because they deem it as 'cool' They fein being offended in order to show others how 'committed' they are. The other day I overheard two women speaking about a painting in an art gallery that showed two women shopping. 'I find that really offensive' said one ' it's utterly sexist, replied the other. I'll bet it was painted by a man' One of them stated. (it didnt cross their minds that there were men also depicted shopping and was a typical 1920s watercolour painted by Lauren Delours...erm..a woman- showing the Pigalle district in Paris - so men and women didnt shop in Paris at that time?) 'What are you doing this afternoon?' one asked the other. 'Oh I am off shopping'..........I smiled and walked out. I guess hypocracy knows no bounds. Jul 5th, 2008 3:01pm

Lynne Burrows said... Hmmmmm. If we just got to the point, instead of faffing around trying to be politically correct, the economy would improve. Imagine how much time we would save- and time is money! We are all human beings, but are all different - so why do people try to mould us into this politically correct model. I have waged a personal war against this false and frustrating waste of time and energy. I don't get on very well with my bosses - strange huh? They are so wrapped up in this middle class, liberal Stepford Wives way of talking and acting that when somebody is frank, open and pragmatic they cannot cope. A weird expression passes over their face - total shock and confusion is very difficult to hide. The back stabbing that is endemic to this parallel existence is the problem. Nobody can say what they mean, how they feel about a particular point. This leads to loss of freedom of speech and frustration. This frustration is evident in society today. A back-lash is happening now. Insincerity is now part of everday life at work. How can you trust a person who acts in this insincere way? The utter distrust you feel towards people who are politically correct is causing paranoia. This paranoia causes stress at work and in society in general. Just stop it ....please. Kids are good at spotting this insincerity. They feel patronised and untrusting (so do I). In school I have noticed this feeling growing. Our kids were born honest and we are bringing them up to be dishonest - don't say what you mean or feel and you will go far in life - you too can become part of this club. Just forget your individuality, behave in a certain way, talk in a certain way, relate to others in a certain way ........and live a lie? I am leaving teaching - not because of the kids' behaviour, but because of the teachers. I know countless others who feel the same and are, or have already, left the job. Our kids are being 'educated' - for 'educated' read 'reeducated'. To find out about reeducation look up brainwashing. Apr 16th, 2007 8:43am
